Station Owner Faces SESAC Suit

MOUNT RUSHMORE BROADCASTING, owner of several stations in WYOMING, is being sued by SESAC and ATLAS MEDIA for nonpayment, according to the CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE. The paper reports that SESAC claims that it was owed over $67,000 by APRIL 1st, 2008 for music royalties, and ATLAS MEDIA claims a bill of $20,400 for the "RUSS ALBUMS WAX MUSEUM."
The company reportedly settled previous lawsuits by ASCAP and BMI over nonpayment of royalties.
