CITADEL Country WIOV/LANCASTER PD AL BROCK tells ALL ACCESS that the station had a very successful, "I CARE FOR KIDS," Radiothon this past weekend. The station raised money for the purchase of three vital new ventilator systems for PENN STATE CHILDREN's HOSPITAL at HERSHEY MEDICAL CENTER.
BROCK said that between this radiothon and another with 'sister station WCAT/HARRISBURG earlier this month, the two stations raised just over $250,000 for the hospital. He added that the CITADEL/HARRISBURG-LANCASTER stations raised $314,500 for the CHILDREN's MIRACLE NETWORK with CMN Radiothons.
