The NRG MEDIA-OMAHA GROUP has joined with NEBRASKA BANKERS ASSOCIATION to educate the community on the willingness of the bank giving loans.
"We have a large and diverse membership who are active in their communities and know their clients. There are loans available to creditworthy borrowers, whether it is for a personal or business loan, for a new car or to enhance company growth," UNITED REPUBLIC BANK Pres./CEO MIKE PATE said. "We encourage customers to sit down and have discussions with their banker about their financial needs and to develop a sensible financial plan in these challenging times."
"Too often we hear from the national media that the banking market has tightened and lending has stalled, but that is certainly not the case here locally,"NRG MEDIA-OMAHA GM RHONDA GERRARD said. "We are encouraged that there is a renewed effort to lend money to credit worthy borrowers within our community for whatever the need."
The ultimate goal for the two groups is to get businesses and consumers back into the game by getting the loans they need to help accomplish their personal finance and business goals. The PSA was launched FEBRUARY 27th and is set to run indefinitely.
