WWHK/Concord Sold To Birch

BIRCH BROADCASTING is buying control of silent WWHK/CONCORD, NH from VOX MEDIA's CAPITOL BROADCASTING CORP., INC./CONCORD BROADCASTING, LLC for $1 million. The station had been operated until AUGUST under an LMA to NASSAU BROADCASTING, which held an option to buy, but the FCC ruled that WWHK put NASSAU over the ownership cap for the CONCORD market.
In other deals filed with the FCC, the SECOND AMENDMENT FOUNDATION and the CITIZENS COMMITTEE FOR THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS are buying out partner ALAN M. GOTTLIEB's 34% interest in KBNP RADIO, INC., licensee of Business Talk KBNP-A/PORTLAND, OR, for $544,000 each ($1.088 million total).
LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM in ST. JAMES, MN to CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES OF THE VALLEY, INC. for $27,500.
CREATIVE EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CORP., INC. is selling FM translator K262BI/ENID, OK to THE LOVE STATION, INC. for $5,000.
And MONTANA CHRISTIAN RADIO ASSOCIATION is donating FM translator K213CJ/BUTTE, MT to HI-LINE RADIO FELLOWSHIP, INC.
