NOISE NEW MEDIA Co-Founder STEVE RICHO and NEW SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT Managing Partner CHRIS BORCHETTA have announced plans to combine forces, creating an "all-encompassing radio/new media promotions team."
NEW SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT was launched this month by BORCHETTA and BRAD HELTON, and is made up of four regional promotion and marketing professionals covering the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and West Coast. The company also handles artist development, consulting and day-to-day management.
NOISE was formed in 2008 by RICHO and artist MARK O'SHEA, wielding "an affordable arsenal of marketing weapons including web 2.0 promo strategies, large-scale mobile marketing campaigns, off-line guerilla marketing, video content creation, and fan communication tactics." They have most notably worked with the HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW & RODEO, TRAVIS TRITT and BANDBOX.
RICHO said: "CHRIS and I have had the opportunity to work together on multiple projects in the past, and I've always respected his ability to call for new media and Internet promotions elements to bolster his traditional radio promotions efforts. This group will put their ability to market directly to fans at the forefront. I feel that we are creating a forward thinking team that is beginning with a fresh outlook on the business."
BORCHETTA added: "I'm very excited to be working with such a great group of passionate people. STEVE and I have always worked well together and seen eye to eye on the ideas we developed. We both know the importance of a promotions team that works hand in hand with new media/social networking department. When an artist is out visiting radio or touring, there are just too many missed opportunities that fall through the cracks. We've addressed these issues and designed unique ways to turn impressions into fans, and fans into customers."
