Former LAS VEGAS BROADCASTERS Religion KKVV-A/LAS VEGAS "STRAIGHT TALK" host JACK FERM has been arrested on charges that he was involved with a mortgage scam, reports the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. FERM was charged with theft and deceptive trade practices in CLARK COUNTY DISTRICT COURT on WEDNESDAY after being found $500 for practicing law without a license.
FERM, who hosted the show from 1994 through 2003, has been offering his services (as "US JUSTICE FOUNDATION") to stop foreclosures, and two customers complained that FERM's company failed to provide promised paperwork. NEVADA Attorney General CATHERINE CORTEZ MASTO said, "Mr. FERM's conduct warrants prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, These schemes will not be tolerated in our state."
