Border Media Converts KTXX LMA To Purchase

BORDER MEDIA is buying Spanish Hits KTXX (LA LUPE 103.1)/KARNES CITY-SAN ANTONIO, TX from PALM BROADCASTING CO., exercising its option to buy the station for forgiveness of loans totaling $1.575 million. BORDER operates the station under an LMA dated OCTOBER 11th, 2006.
In other deals filed with the FCC, SLONE BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Adult Standards KCEE-A/CORTARO-TUCSON, AZ to GOOD NEWS COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $1.3 million.
RANDY MICHAELS' RADIOACTIVE, LLC is selling the construction permit for a new FM in LITTLE VALLEY, NY to SENECA BROADCASTING, LLC for $250,000.
SOCIETY OF PURE TRUTH MINISTRIES, INC. files the second half of the swap with HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP that involved the sale of FM translator W289AP/CLEVELAND, MS to DELTA RADIO LLC for $10. The new filing sends the construction permit for noncommercial FM KMOA/NU'UULI, AMERICAN SAMOA to HORIZON for $10.
MEDIA EDUCATION FOUNDATION is transferring low power WXOJ-LP/NORTHAMPTON, MA to VALLEY FREE RADIO, INC. with terms undisclosed.
And E. MORGAN SKINNER, JR.'s LEGACY EDUCATION FOUNDATION is selling FM translator K268BH/MESQUITE, NV to CANYON MEDIA GROUP, LLC for $22,500. The translator will rebroadcast the buyer's Country KONY/ST. GEORGE, UT.
