TELULAR CORPORATION a wireless communications technology company and ARBITRON have entered into an agreement using TELULAR's fixed cellular terminals to increase participation in its electronic radio ratings services by young millennials who do not have a landline in their apartment or house.
TELULAR's terminals connect with ARBITRON's PORTABLE PEOPLE METER to reliably and cost-effectively transmit audience measurement data to the company over cellular networks.
"TELULAR's terminals allow us to cost-effectively use the latest wireless technology to collect radio ratings data from the hard-to-reach mobile-exclusive demographics," said ARBITRON VP/Research BETH WEBB. "The Terminals are helping us increase participation among the young and ethnic radio listeners who live in cell-phone-only households."
