A 27-year-old former radio personality in NORTHERN IDAHO faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine after pleading guilty to a felony possession of child pornography, reports THE SEATTLE TIMES. RYAN CHAMBERS made a federal court appearance TUESDAY in COEUR D'ALENE, ID.
Authorities searched CHAMBERS' home in MOSCOW last year and found thousands of explicit images on his computer. Court documents show many of the children in the videos and photographs were between ages six and 10.
Assistant U.S. Attorney JAMES PETERS says he expects a federal judge to sentence CHAMBERS to at least six years in prison at a JUNE 23rd court hearing.
Radio station manager GARY CUMMINGS says CHAMBERS resigned from his job at KZZL (BULL COUNTRY 99.5) on MONDAY.
