TALK RADIO NETWORK's MICHAEL SAVAGE is declaring victory in the battle to have the case against Lt. Col. JEFFREY CHESSANI in the "HADITHA Massacre" dismissed. SAVAGE, the THOMAS MORE LAW CENTER, and listeners pushed for the case arising from a battle in the ANBAR PROVINCE of IRAQ to be dismissed, and the NAVY-MARINE CORPS Court of Criminal Appeals has unanimously dismissed the case.
SAVAGE has said that he "would not rest" until Lt. Col. CHESSANI was exonerated. CHESSANI was accused of involvement in an alleged "massacre" of civilians, which SAVAGE and others said was in reality a case prompted by a TIME MAGAZINE headline and not by the facts of the incident.
SAVAGE said, "Radio has freed an innocent man. This demonstrates the power of radio and the dedication of the SAVAGE NATION audience to the truth."
