BIG MACHINE/NASHVILLE's TAYLOR SWIFT is looking for three dancers to join her on stage for her 2009 FEARLESS TOUR. SWIFT tells today's (3/23) TENNESSEAN that applicants must be 18 or older, can dance, sing and act, can be committed to the tour from APRIL to OCTOBER and must have backgrounds in Hip-Hop, Jazz and partner dancing.
Experience playing violin or viola is a definite plus, and one of the positions will also require backup vocal experience. Auditions will be held tomorrow (3/24) in NASHVILLE beginning at 1p (CT) at QUALITY WAY. TAYLOR will not (repeat, NOT) be present at the auditions.
In other SWIFT news, her album, "Fearless," has reached GOLD status in AUSTRALIA, UNITED KINGDOM and NORWAY for over 500,000 copies sold. Her single, "Love Story," has also been certified PLATINUM for over a million digital units sold.
