ACM Announces Off-Camera Awards

The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) has announced the off-camera winners for the upcoming 44th ANNUAL ACM AWARDS.
JIM REEVES INTERNATIONAL AWARD (for contributions to the acceptance of Country music around the world)
POET'S AWARD (honors songwriters for musical/lyrical contributions to Country music)
MERLE HAGGARD and HARLAN HOWARD
CLIFFIE STONE PIONEER AWARD (honoring those who are pioneers in Country music)
JERRY REED, KENNY ROGERS, RANDY TRAVIS and HANK WILLIAMS, JR.
TEX RITTER AWARD (awarded to a movie featuring or utilizing Country music)
"Beer For My Horses"
MAE BOREN AXTON AWARD (for years of dedication and service by an individual to the ACM)
Other awards announced include the MUSICIAN, BAND and INSTRUMENTAL AWARDS, CASINO OF THE YEAR, VENUE OF THE YEAR and NIGHTCLUB OF THE YEAR. For a list of all off-camera winners click here.
The 44th ANNUAL ACM AWARDS will take place on SUNDAY, APRIL 5th at the MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA in LAS VEGAS and will be broadcast live on CBS at 8p (ET).
