SPACIAL AUDIO has just awarded five more laid-off radio employees with its own Radio Bailout Packages. Every week for the past eight weeks, five radio pros have been given prizes worth up to $75,000 -- with 10 more on-the-beach vets eligible to win over the next two weeks.
This week's unemplyed winners are ex-TIMES SHAMROCK COMMUNICATIONS/COLLINSVILLE, OK staffer GENE SAVAGE, ex-PROMEDIALIVE/FORT MYERS, FL pro JUSTIN COHEN, former COX RADIO KHTC/HOUSTON staffer PAUL CHRISTY, ex-AIR AMERICA RADIO NETWORK pro DAVID BERNSTEIN, and WCVT/TOWSON, MD staffer BRUCE MICHALS, They won Spacial Bailout packages that include a SAM Broadcaster v4 radio automation system, Spacial ad insertion and accountability software StreamAds, and the hosting of a 500-seat audio stream at 128 kb/s, for up to five years
"This is our own little way of helping those who have been displaced over the past nine months," SPACIAL AUDIO CEO BRYAN PAYNE said. "Giving radio veterans the chance to power-up their own internet radio station simply shows that the radio industry is not vanishing -- its future is online."
Registering is easy and open to any radio professional who has been released from employment since JULY 1st, 2008 through no fault of their own. To register for the Bailout, click here.
