Country Music HOF To Launch New Photography Exhibit

The COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM will unveil a new photography exhibit on APRIL 10th, titled "COUNTRY COUTURE." The photographs, taken by award-winning BRITISH photographer CAMBRIDGE JONES, will display the "one-of-a-kind designs" of Country fashion designer MANUEL.
Some of the artists featured in the exhibit wearing MANUEL's designs include: KIX BROOKS (of BROOKS & DUNN), LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS, the HAGER TWINS, MERLE HAGGARD, JIM LAUDERDALE, LORETTA LYNN, RONNIE MILSAP, LORRIE MORGAN and PAM TILLIS. The display runs at the HALL OF FAME through OCTOBER 31st.

In other HOF news, music historian PETER GURALNICK will present a special lecture to commemorate the 100th birthday of COL. TOM PARKER, the legendary manager of ELVIS PRESLEY. GURALNICK will talk about PARKER as a visionary genius and a "master of explotation." He will show rare photographs and documents and play an audio sample of the only song PARKER ever asked ELVIS to record.
The lecture takes place on SATURDAY, APRIL 18th at 1:30p (CT) in the FORD THEATER.
