DURHAM BULLS minor league baseball will again air on sister CAPITOL BROADCASTING Sports WCMC (99.9 FM THE FAN)/RALEIGH-DURHAM for the 2009 season. The station will carry all 144 regular season games on either the primary channel or an HD2 channel due to conflicts with other commitments. WCMC aired weekend game broadcasts last season.
"We are really happy to be working with one of our sister companies to bring Bulls Baseball to the fans," said BULLS GM MIKE BIRLING. "To be on the station that carries the CAROLINA HURRICANES as well as ESPN's great programming is truly an honor."
"It is exciting for us to expand our partnership with the DURHAM BULLS," said FAN PD DAVE SHORE. "The BULLS have such a championship heritage in the Triangle and have done such a great job of building quality talent. We are committed to bringing our listeners the best in sports and the DURHAM BULLS fan base is loyal, knowledgeable and passionate."
