L.A. Radio Group Proposes New Frequency For New Red Deer FM
April 2, 2009 at 5:41 AM (PT)
L.A. RADIO GROUP won a license for a new FM in RED DEER, AB from the CRTC in OCTOBER, but it was told to go find another frequency for its hybrid Modern Rock and Top 40 format because HARVARD BROADCASTING was given its preferred 100.7 slot.
L.A. has now applied to the CRTC to use 101.3 FM, with an effective maximum effective radiated power of 50,000 watts at 161 meters (class C1).
The agency has set MAY 9th as the deadline for interventions and comments on the proposed facility.
