The Middle TENNESSEE nonprofit organization CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS has received "The Order Of The Horse" award, which "recognizes outstanding community service in SUMNER COUNTY, TN." This is the first time an entire organization has won this award, which is presented annually at the luncheon for the UNITED CHAMBERS.
CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS provides a WAL-MART shopping spree, holiday activities and lunch to hundreds of Middle TENNESSEE children each year. The organization also hosts a benefit concert every year, "CHARLIE DANIELS & Friends," which is their main source of financial support. This year's show will be held NOVEMBER 23rd at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE. Additional artists will be announced later this year.
