The SPACIAL AUDIO 'RADIO BAILOUT' has been the largest attempt to help out professionals that have been laid off. Due to the massive radio layoffs, 50 unemployed radio veterans have been given an opportunity to start their own radio stations online.
"We're anticipating some creative thinking in these radio formats," SPACIAL CEO BRYAN PAYNE said. "Putting radio professionals online, with their own station, gently nudges the Internet radio industry into thinking smarter."
Fifty radio professionals received a SAM BROADCASTER V4, which is a leading radio automation system in the global market; STREAMADS, a spacial software allowing ad insertion and accountability for digital transmission; and the hosting of 500-seat audio streams at 128kb/s for up to five years.
