Longtime Nashville News Anchor Dan Miller Passes

ALL ACCESS sends prayers and condolences to the family of longtime WSMV-TV (Channel 4)/NASHVILLE news anchor DAN MILLER. MILLER passed away of a heart attack yesterday (4/8) in his hometown of AUGUSTA, GA. He was 67.
DAN anchored Channel 4 evening newscasts since the 1970s. For a short time he worked in LOS ANGELES as PAT SAJAK's sidekick for a short-lived late night talk show SAJAK did on CBS-TV. MILLER returned to NASHVILLE in the mid-1990s to continue working for WSMV. MILLER was a weatherman and radio announcer at WSM in the 1970s.
A public visitation has been scheduled for 3-6p (CT) on MONDAY (4/13) at WESTMINISTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in NASHVILLE, located at 3900 West End Ave. A second public visitation will be held TUESDAY (4/14) at 10a (CT), followed by the funeral at 11:30a (CT) at the same location.
