GMC, Tangle.com Hold 'Dove Super Fan Contest'

The GOSPEL MUSIC CHANNEL (GMC) and TANGLE.COM have partnered for the first-ever DOVES SUPER FAN CONTEST in conjunction with the 40TH ANNUAL GMA DOVE AWARDS.  The winner of the contest will win a trip to NASHVILLE to help present “New Artist of the Year” and “Artist of the Year” live on stage at the awards show. The winner will also be escorted backstage to meet Christian music artists.

Entrants will submit video entries on TANGLE.COM, telling why they should be named the “DOVES SUPER FAN” and what is unique about their ability to present these awards and be given this opportunity. Video submissions will be accepted through EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 12th. Fan voting for “New Artist of the Year” and “Artist of the Year” will remain open until the live broadcast on APRIL 23rd. Nominated artists are also participating in the viral grassroots efforts of this campaign, posting videos on TANGLE.COM to support fans participating in both the DOVE AWARDS voting process and the video contest. Bands and artists are able to post personal video messages, digital banners and send e-blasts to fan lists with TANGLE.COM.

The awards show will broadcast live from the GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE in NASHVILLE on APRIL 23rd at 8p (ET).
