BNA RECORDS/NASHVILLE group The LOST TRAILERS are kicking off their new "LEAN, CLEAN AND LOCAL TOUR" this weekend (4/10-4/12) in ALBANY, GA. They are the first band from any genre to create a tour that will not only benefit the environment, but will also help local businesses in a tough economic climate.
As part of the "LEAN, CLEAN AND LOCAL" initiative, the group will be hiring local stage crews and renting instruments & equipment at each stop on the tour, as well as forgoing luxury tour buses and flying commercially.
The TRAILERS have also teamed up with KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL, a national nonprofit dedicated to litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling and community greening. The local nonprofit affiliates will attend their shows and help keep the venues clean by recycling the leftover empty bottles and cans.
