ALL ACCESS/NASHVILLE Editor JIM ASKER is not only our personal hero, but he's a star in his own right as he's running in the Country Music 'Half-Marathon' event on APRIL 25th as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training to raise money to fight this disease.
It's really a major personal accomplishment for JIM, as he's recovered from Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and today is not only cancer-free, but is running long marathon races that most folks wouldn't even dream of trying.
"When JIM told me in 2005 how sick he was, the rest of the NASHVILLE office and the company did all we could to give him the time to recover and focus on his health," said ALL ACCESS President/Publisher JOEL DENVER. "JIM has fought a courageous battle and has emerged victorious. He's truly one of the strongest and bravest people I know. I encourage everyone to help JIM reach and go past his $10,000 pledge goal by clicking here to make a contribution. He's only $1,500 short -- go ahead, make that pledge. I have!"
Read all about JIM's amazing story, and the upcoming race, which is featured in TODAY's TENNESSEAN (4/10).
