There's a new player in the huge (and possibly over-saturated) Internet radio market. XNATION.FM -- ONE NATION. UNDER ROCK. has officially flipped the switch on after many months of research and development. Check out the Alternative station at www.xnation.fm.
GM/PD ADAM HAZELL said, "Our goal with this venture was not to just throw another alternative station online and pray that everyone likes it. We actually took the time to see what works best with Internet radio on both the programming side and web development side. The end result is a really cool experience that brings together the best elements of successful internet radio."
XNATION.FM plans to be proactive in the march to get Internet radio into cars, which HAZELL feels is the crucial step to making Internet radio popular. He noted, "This medium of entertainment will never become successful without an efficient way for listeners to get in their cars, press one button, and hear music. If we can eliminate all of the cumbersome steps that 99% of the audience will never attempt, we may be on to something."
