Doug Stephan Back from Iraq

GOOD DAY host DOUG STEPHAN described his trip to Iraq as one of the most moving and meaningful of his life. DOUG traveled to BAGHDAD with celebrities TONY ORLANDO, STEPHEN BALDWIN and a host of other performers and broadcasters on behalf of Operation Iraqi Children and The Veteran's Initiative.

The trip not only provided our armed forces with some well-deserved R&R, it also brought along much needed medical and educational supplies for Iraqi children.

"Whatever you think about the reasoning behind our initial involvement in IRAQ, there is no question that Americans are doing great things for that country right now," STEPHAN said. "Our military goes out of its way to not only make life safer for the locals, they are working hard on a daily basis to improve their quality of life, especially for the next generation. I was touched by this trip in a way that I will never forget."
