CBS RADIO Sports KRLD-F (105.3 THE FAN)/DALLAS will be the new home for DALLAS COWBOYS football in a multi-year deal stretching for at least 10 years. The agreement includes an all-COWBOYS HD3 multicast channel that will air classic COWBOYS material including past SUPER BOWL broadcasts and coaches' shows. The COWBOYS are moving from crosstown CUMULUS Sports KTCK-A (SPORTSRADIO 1310 THE TICKET) and Classic Rock KDBN (THE BONE).
CBS RADIO Pres./CEO DAN MASON said, "The DALLAS COWBOYS are one of the most dynamic and culturally relevant teams in all of the NFL. And it’s an honor to be in partnership with such a first class organization run by a dedicated and passionate owner in JERRY JONES. The COWBOYS have achieved extraordinary accomplishments at every level. We look forward to honoring their tradition of success in presenting a one of a kind experience for local fans and the many millions across the country."
"We couldn’t be more excited about coming back to the CBS RADIO family with KRLD-FM 105.3 THE FAN," added JONES. "With a new stadium comes a new flagship, and that will bring COWBOYS coverage that is both innovative and powerful. Their strength of signal and the opportunity to provide COWBOYS talk and programming on a 24-hours-a-day basis on the digital multicast channel will provide the COWBOYS a listening audience throughout the region that we have never experienced before. This will be the premier flagship/team association in the NFL on many levels."
THE FAN SVP/GM DAVID HENRY said, "We are proud to bring the DALLAS COWBOYS back home to CBS RADIO DALLAS. Very quickly we have been able to amass the best sports programming in the market. This is a tremendous partnership that will help build our brand for many years to come."
BRAD SHAM and BABE LAUFENBERG will continue to call the action. THE FAN will host the COWBOYS' official NFL draft party SATURDAY in ARLINGTON.
