DAVID J. BIRNIE is buying 100% of the stock of CUSTER COUNTY BROADCASTING COMPANY, licensee of Country-Ag News KCNI-A and Rock KBBN/BROKEN BOW, NE, from LIANE K. GRIFFITH (88%), JERRY GRIFFITH (6%), and JEFF GRIFFITH (6%) for $580,000 ($58,000 cash, the rest in a promissory note). BIRNIE is Station Manager and PD at the combo.
In other deals filed with the FCC, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is transferring FM translator W218BJ/BANGOR, ME to EDGEWATER BROADCASTING for payment of legal fees; and JOSHUA KESLER is selling FM translator W250AL/NORTH CORBIN, KY to LINCOLN GARRARD BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for $20,800.
