FCC Nixes Challenge To CP Sale
April 24, 2009 at 11:15 AM (PT)
The FCC has rejected a challenge by WHITE PARK BROADCASTING to the sale by TED TUCKER JR.'s SKYWEST MEDIA LLC of construction permits for KRZX/MONTICELLO, UT, KXML/SALMON, ID, and new FMs in HUDSON, WY, LAS VEGAS, NM, and KAYCEE, WY to his father TED TUCKER SR.'s COCHISE MEDIA LICENSES LLC for forgiveness of $699,000 principal in debt.
The objection came because WHITE PARK's pending proposal to move KDAD/DOUGLAS, WY to BAR NUNN, WY is being held up because SKYWEST's conflicting application to move the CP for KAYCEE, WY to EVANSVILLE, WY remains pending as well, and SKYPARK filed a notice that it would respond to WHITE PARK's opposition in that case but has yet to do so. WHITE PARK wanted SKYPARK's conduct in the KAYCEE case to be considered in the sale procedure, but the FCC disagreed.
