BONNEVILLE's WFED-A (FEDERAL NEWS RADIO 1500 AM)/WASHINGTON is airing a contest based on the old "MATCH GAME" TV show, "MATCH GAME 1500," pitting former federal agency managers against each other for donations to charity.
In the debut episode TODAY (4/24), former Office of Personnel Management Director LINDA SPRINGER of ERNST AND YOUNG rallied to beat former Deputy CIO of the DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR and VETERAN'S ADMINISTRATION ED MEAGHER, now of SRA INTERNATIONAL. The station's own morning team TOM TEMIN and JANE NORRIS, afternoon co-host CHRIS DOROBEK, and MIKE CAUSEY served as panelists, and midday anchor FRANCIS ROSE served as GENE RAYBURN for the game, which awarded $250 to charity in SPRINGER's name.
