Salem Sets Shareholder Meeting

SALEM COMMUNICATIONS CORP. has set its annual meeting of shareholders for JUNE 3rd in CAMARILLO, CA. The agenda includes a vote on a ten year extension for the company's stock incentive plan and a Board election.
The proxy statement filed with the FCC shows CEO ED ATSINGER's compensation rising from $1,579,255 to $1,612,008, despite a smaller bonus and static base salary of $800,000, with stock options and perks making up the difference. Chairman STUART EPPERSON took a cut from $976,247 to $908,252, including a cut in base salary from $625,000 to $537,500.
