Ex-BEASLEY Alternative WJBX/FT. MYERS, FL APD/middayer ANTHONY "TONY" PROFFITT (aka ROACH) has fired up a "TASTE OF MUSIC -- It's Not A Cooking Show ... It's A Show That Cooks!" PROFFITT has a production team, business manager, and culinary adviser. He hopes to take the rock n' roll lifestyle show to network TV.
PROFFITT told ALL ACCESS, "The premise of the show involves bands and ...well food. Eight years ago I was doing an interview with CHAD KROEGER and he asked if he could cook some pirogi's while we talked on the radio. I said sure. After the interview aired I had so many people ask me about pirogi's and what it was like cooking with CHAD it gave me the idea to do this."
He continued, "It's primarily webisode's now, but we hope to get this to a network that sees the potential between artist and food. We go on the road and find out what artists taste are like. From cooking at their house to a venue or even at a restaurant in one of their favorite cities. It's all about music and food and we all know...bands like to eat!"
The first two artist recordings have been with NONPOINT and SAVING ABEL. You can check out the webisodes at www.tasteofmusiconline.com. Do you want to get your artist involved? Contact PROFFITT at (865) 607-0222 or firstname.lastname@example.org for booking info.
