THE CONCLAVE has begun its work on THE 2009 ROCKWELL SCHOLARSHIP. The scholarship is worth $1,000 and it's available to anyone who has worked professionally in the industry -- currently or in the past. Candidates may come from the ranks of programming, sales, promotion/marketing, engineering, production, or any other department inside a radio organization. Those candidates must either be enrolled, or plan to be enrolled, in an accredited post-secondary educational course or courses.
According to CONCLAVE Exec. Dir. TOM KAY, "We want to make sure that the industry knows this money is available to pros who wish to continue to learn, not just to those who are considered students."
The scholarship will be presented during the 34th annual Learning Conference, JULY 16th-18th, 2009 at the Sheraton South Hotel/MINNEAPOLIS.
