CCR Debuts NYC Live Venue

CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO has opened the P.C. RICHARD & SON THEATER in NEW YORK CITY. The 5,500 square-foot, street-level venue will serve as the live performance home for CLEAR CHANNEL’s NEW YORK cluster: Top 40/Mainstream WHTZ (Z100), Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3), AC WLTW (LITE-FM), Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1) and Top 40/Rhythmic WKTU, as well as the East Coast home for IHEARTRADIO original productions.
The 220-seat theater’s inaugural live performance tonight is TINTED WINDOWS, which features TAYLOR HANSON of HANSON, JAMES IHA of SMASHING PUMPKINS, BUN E. CARLOS of CHEAP TRICK, and ADAM SCHLESINGER of FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE. The theater will also play host to up-and-coming artists not yet heard on radio. Many performances will be recorded and made available to the company’s network of millions of online, mobile and on-air listeners.
