ENTERCOM Talk WBEN-A/BUFFALO weekend "HARDLINE WITH HARDWICK" host and CANISIUS COLLEGE professor KEVIN HARDWICK is coming off the air to run for the ERIE COUNTY legislature. HARDWICK, who has been on WBEN for four years, will challenge Democratic incumbent MICHELE M. IANNELLO for the District 10 seat and told the BUFFALO NEWS that he could not continue to host the show while running for office.
"I've had a lot of media exposure and I've enjoyed it immensely," HARDWICK told the NEWS. "But there's a difference between the color commentary of a baseball game and being the guy on the field who can make a difference. The time has come where I'm ready to get back in the arena." HARDWICK served as an Alderman in TONAWANDA for six years and ran unsuccessfully for the legislature in 2001 and 2003.
