Date Set For 2nd Annual Porter Wagoner Fishing Tournament

Country artists and professional bass anglers will be paired up once again for the 2nd Annual PORTER WAGONER MEMORIAL ARTISTS & ANGLERS FISHING TOURNAMENT. This year's event is set for TUESDAY, JUNE 9th at NASHVILLE's J. PERCY PRIEST LAKE.
The weigh-in will take place at 3p (CT) at BASS PRO SHOPS OPRY MILLS, with a concert from Bluegrass group GREEN ON THE VYNE and other special guests. The weigh-in and concert are free to the public. The winning duo of this year's tournament will receive two $500 gift cards, and trophies will be awarded for runners-up and "Big Bass."
Last year's event drew 27 professional anglers, including JIMMY HOUSTON, ROLAND MARTIN, JUDY WONG and more. EMERSON DRIVE's DALE WALLACE won with 21.8 lbs. of bass.
Artists slated to appear this year include EMERSON DRIVE's BRAD MATES, BRYAN WHITE, BOBBY BARE, MEL TILLIS, ALABAMA's JEFF COOK, JON RANDALL, TRENT WILLMON, LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS, ERIC CHURCH, SAMMY KERSHAW, DEAN BRODY and more.
