Beggars Group Announces Expansion To West Coast

THE BEGGARS GROUP -- XL RECORDINGS, 4AD, MATADOR RECORDS, and ROUGH TRADE -- has announced the opening of a LOS ANGELES office in JULY under MIWA OKUMURA, who has been upped to SVP/West Coast Operations And Licensing. OKUMURA was previously Sr. Product Manager.
She will move from NEW YORK to oversee the West Coast office as well as heading up licensing duties in film and TV. SEB WEBBER will be relocating to LA from XL RECORDINGS LONDON Headquarters to become VP/A&R for the label. MATADOR Co- President CHRIS LOMBARDI will be dividing his time between the LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK.
