Opry Announces Activities Surrounding CMA Music Fest

The GRAND OLE OPRY is helping kick off CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL week in NASHVILLE (JUNE 11th-14th) with a host of activities, beginning TUESDAY, JUNE 9th. There will be two "star-packed" TUESDAY NIGHT OPRY shows that night, as well as an OPRY PLAZA PARTY, featuring free performances by hit songwriter JEFFREY STEELE and BIG MACHINE duo KATE & KACEY.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD, TRACE ADKINS, RICKY SKAGGS, LORRIE MORGAN, LITTLE BIG TOWN and The CHARLIE DANIELS BAND are among those scheduled to appear on the TUESDAY NIGHT OPRY shows at 7p and 9:30p (CT). MORGAN is marking her 25th anniversary with the OPRY that night, and SKAGGS is celebrating the release of his new album, "Waitin' For The Sun To Shine."
The OPRY PLAZA PARTY with STEELE and KATE & KACEY will begin at 5:30p (CT) outside of the GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE. Among the OPRY shows and events to follow that week include the annual CITY OF HOPE CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME, in-store signings at OPRY ORIGINALS, the OPRY's new store in downtown NASHVILLE, and a GUITARS OF THE STARS auction benefiting the OPRY TRUST FUND.
