Buddy Strait's Death Ruled Accidental

The SAN ANTONIO NEWS-EXPRESS is reporting that the death of JOHN "BUDDY" STRAIT, brother of MCA star GEORGE STRAIT, has been ruled accidental. According to the BEXAR COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINER, BUDDY died of methadone toxicity and heart disease.
Methadone is a narcotic pain reliever that is used for various purposes, including withdrawal treatment from narcotics such as heroin.
BUDDY, 58, passed away on APRIL 10th and was discovered in a hotel room in SAN ANTONIO (NET NEWS 4/13).
