The BBC is taking no chances with JONATHAN ROSS anymore, announcing that the TV and radio personality's RADIO 2 weekend show will be prerecorded starting this week to prevent further troubles over content.
ROSS, who was suspended from his show for three months for his part in the infamous "SACHSGATE" prank call incident on RUSSELL BRAND's program, returned to his show in JANUARY but has been criticized for a joke interpreted by some as insulting to gays and for making fun of the apology the station was ordered by OFCOM to broadcast in regard to the prank call.
The show will be recorded "as live" on FRIDAYS for airing on SATURDAYS, giving the station time to review and edit material.
