CINCINNATI PUBLIC RADIO spins off its noncommercial WVXA/ROGERS CITY, MI and its translator in MACKINAW CITY, MI to WATZ RADIO, INC. for $411,000. WATZ RADIO has simultaneously filed an application to convert WVXA to a commercial license; it is also donating the translator to INTERLOCHEN CENTER FOR THE ARTS. WVXA is one of the stations CINCINNATI PUBLIC RADIO acquired as a group in the purchase of WVXU/CINCINNATI last year.
