The Redneck Woman Will Kick Off CMA Music Fest

COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE's GRETCHEN WILSON will get the party started at this year's CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL when she opens the RIVERFRONT PARK Daytime Stage on THURSDAY, JUNE 11th. Also appearing on stage that day will be JAMES OTTO, PHIL VASSAR, CHUCK WICKS, HEIDI NEWFIELD, NEAL McCOY, BELLAMY BROTHERS, ASHTON SHEPHERD, RANDY ROGERS BAND and DIAMOND RIO. 

CRAIG MORGAN, JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY and LOVE & THEFT have also been added to the RIVERFRONT daytime lineup. In addition, ONE FLEW SOUTH will sing the NATIONAL ANTHEM on THURSDAY, JUNE 11, and TELSTRA winner PETER McWHIRTER from AUSTRALIA will perform on FRIDAY, JUNE 12 as part of his grand prize.

Gates open at 9a (CT) and the show is free to the public, but MUSIC FEST ticket holders will have priority admission. The 2009 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held in Downtown NASHVILLE, JUNE 11th-14th. For more information visit www.cmamusicfest.com.
