The British Home Secretary who put TALK RADIO NETWORK's MICHAEL SAVAGE on a list with terrorists and extremists not allowed to enter the U.K. is stepping down from her post after becoming caught up in the headline-making scandal of members of Parliament putting personal items on their expense reports.
JACQUI SMITH, who serves as a LABOUR PARTY MP from REDDITCH, was reported to have listed her sister's house in LONDON as her primary residence and is alleged to have submitted a claim for her husband's viewing of two pay-per-view porn movies. SMITH is one of several MPs reported to have submitted questionable expense claims, a scandal that has dominated the nation's newspapers in recent weeks.
She is likely to run for re-election for her seat in Parliament but will be relinquishing her Home Secretary post as one of a series of shake-ups in Prime Minister GORDON BROWN's cabinet.
