Borchetta And Harnen Reunite At Republic Nashville

The wait and rumors are finally over. Veteran music industry executive JIMMY HARNEN, most recently SVP at CAPITOL/NASHVILLE, will be reuniting with SCOTT BORCHETTA. HARNEN will head up the new REPUBLIC NASHVILLE as President.

The announcement was made by MONTE LIPMAN, Pres. of UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC and SCOTT BORCHETTA, Pres./CEO of BIG MACHINE RECORDS LLC. The imprint will be headquartered on MUSIC ROW and utilize the combined resources of BIG MACHINE and UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC RECORDS. 

REPUBLIC NASHVILLE's flagship artists include SUNNY SWEENEY (who segues from BIG MACHINE) and new Country duo FAST RYDE. A major staff announcement regardling the new label will be forthcoming.
