Eugene Lentini Dead At 81

Condolences to HOLLYWOOD RECORDS/CHICAGO MIDWEST Regional Promo Rep VICTOR LENTINI and the rest of the family and friends of EUGENE "GENE" LENTINI on the passing of VICTOR's dad. EUGENE was 81.

An active dancer and skydiver, he served in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division. A graduate of The American Academy of Art, EUGENE enjoyed a brief career as a commercial artist before becoming a firefighter in WESTCHESTER, IL. After 36 years, he retired as Captain. He was preceded in death by his wife JANICE "JAY" of 46 years and survived by sisters NANCY and JOSEPHINE, brother PETE, his children, SUSAN (JOHN) STEWART, GUY (MYRA) LENTINI, JANE LENTINI, VICTOR LENTINI and grandchildren MARILYN, DANNY, CLIO, TIMOTHY and ROWDY. SUN LAKES, AZ became his final residence in 1999, embracing its climate, carefree lifestyle and loving companion ONALIE DEHORTY. In celebration of his life he asked to be remembered dancing.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home, 1510 E. Flower St., PHOENIX, AZ 85014.
