Arbitron Launches 'ARB-TV' Tool

ARBITRON is taking an agressive stance in TV, in addition to its radio business, by rolling out ARB-TV, a new suite of audience measurement services designed to improve visibility into away-from-home television audiences for media companies and advertisers. By leveraging PPM technologies, the ARB-TV analytical tool complements existing data services and offers media greater insight into what constitutes their total audience and helps advertisers plan how to reach that audience.
"In today's increasingly mobile world, media companies and marketers want to know when and where consumers are being exposed to their content," said EVP ALTON L. ADAMS. "The ARB-TV suite helps quantify audience viewership in locations outside of the home including, among others, restaurants/bars, other homes, the workplace, airports, hotels, sports venues, malls and medical facilities."
