jacAPPS, the iPHONE application division of JACOBS MEDIA, was recently highlighted at APPLE’s Worldwide Developers Conference earlier this month. During a presentation from APPLE SVP/Worldwide Marketing PHILIP SCHILLER, a montage of iPHONE app fans was presented, and a fan of NEW YORK’s PULSE 87.7 is shown in TIMES SQUARE lauding his favorite app.
"While there are lots of developers creating applications for radio and internet stations for the iPHONE, we’re proud that a jacAPPS radio app was chosen by APPLE for their WWDC," commented JACOBS MEDIA Pres. FRED JACOBS. "This is total validation that our concept of a 'stationalized' iPHONE app is the best option available on the market. Of course, we’re fortunate to have apps in the iTUNES store from great radio stations like PULSE 87.7, WRIF, WMMR, K-LOVE, THE DRIVE, FM 94/9 and many others. It also helps to position broadcast radio in a positive light, showcased on APPLE’s white hot iPHONE."
