Steve Jobs Returns To Apple -- Part Time

APPLE CEO STEVE JOBS is back on the job -- at least part time, reports THE NEW YORK POST. "The tight-lipped tech company confirmed that JOBS has returned to work after a liver transplant earlier this year, but as usual denied investors any update on his health. An APPLE spokesman said JOBS, who is battling pancreatic cancer, is working a few days a week and that the company is happy to have him back.
"However, APPLE didn't say whether JOBS had resumed day-to-day control of the company from COO TIM COOK, who has been minding the store in his absence.
"When JOBS took a leave of absence in JANUARY, APPLE said only that he would be back by the end of JUNE. JOBS was spotted on the corporate campus a few times during his six months of sick leave but yesterday marked his official return.
"Although APPLE effectively put an end to the speculative game of will he or won't he return at the end of his projected leave, the company has done little to satisfy critics who argue that investors are owed more information about JOBS' health situation."
