CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KYSR (98-7FM)/LOS ANGELES hires KENNEDY to anchor its "MUSIC IN THE MORNING" beginning MONDAY, JULY 6th.  The well-known pop culture personality and radio talent, KENNEDY, will incorporate local lifestyle perspective, relevant reports and breaking news into the already popular "MUSIC IN THE MORNING" format on the station. 

KENNEDY also hosts nights on sister Talk KFI-A and can be seen often on FOX NEWS CHANNEL's FOX & FRIENDS and MSNBC's SCARBOROUGH COUNTRY. She also appears as an entertainment and reality expert on VH1 and E! Her diverse broadcasting career at age 19 as an intern and later part-time DJ at crosstown Alternative KROQ.

This announcement comes at a time when 98-7 has been enjoying a steady and impressive ratings growth, having a weekly cume of over 2 million listeners, and is currently the #1 rated Alternative Rock radio station in the market among 18-34 adults according to the latest ARBITRON PPM report.
