Kidd Kraddick Starts Own School Of Rock

Syndicated morning show personality KIDD KRADDICK is about to debut the "KIDD KRADDICK Rock Camp," whose purpose is to form a superstar rock band solely comprised of kids under 14 years old -- and they'll do it in just one week.
Suffice it to say, it will be an intense week of rehearsal, recording and video shooting, culminating in a live radio performance a mere seven days after the band members met for the first time. The show will audition talented musicians aged 8-14 through video submissions. Once the band has been chosen, KRADDICK will deploy a pop star their age to help make their dream a reality.
Applicants should record a new video of themselves playing their instrument or singing solo and then post it on YOUTUBE. Once posted, the link to that audition video should then be submitted via e-mail to Contest@kiddnation.com no later than JULY 13th, 2009. Finalists must agree to be in DALLAS and be available for full-time rehearsals and production from JULY 20th-28th.
The band will be chosen and introduced on KIDD KRADDICK's show on the week of JULY 20th. KRADDICK and 15-year-old YOUTUBE phenom JUSTIN BIEBER will then co-produce an original song and video starring the young musicians and ready them for their first live performance.
"We're expecting a new story to unfold everyday as JUSTIN and I prepare the band for their debut live performance," KRADDICK said. "With two million listeners rooting them on, it should be a pretty good first gig."
