It's Year Three For The Kellar Institute

The KELLAR RADIO TALENT INSTITUTE, on the campus of APPALACHIAN STATE UNIVERSITY, has begun its third successful year providing the industry with talented young broadcasters. Formerly the KELLAR RADIO FARM SYSTEM INSTITUTE, the Institute has adjusted its name to clearly communicate the INSTITUTE's mission: to attract, train and coach talented students who have a passion for the broadcast industry as well as possible ownership.
Fifteen students have been accepted into this year's INSTITUTE which is being held JULY 13th-22nd on the campus of APPALACHIAN STATE UNIVERSITY in BOONE, NC. They will hear from 24 of the nation's top broadcasting professionals, including DON CURTIS of CURTIS MEDIA and GEORGE G. BEASLEY of BEASLEY BROADCASTING, INC.
