CITADEL MEDIA Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK is revamping its weekend lineup with the addition of a SATURDAY night edition of JOHN BATCHELOR's show and a pair of open slots on SUNDAY for tryouts. BATCHELOR will be heard on SATURDAYS in the same hours as his SUNDAY show, 9p-1a ET, and SUNDAYS 4-6p and 6-9p are being reserved for tryouts, which will include former WABC and WWRL host RICHARD BEY, former ESPN commentator and PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER columnist STEPHEN A. SMITH, and others.
In addition, the station has added the syndicated "REAL ESTATE TODAY" for SATURDAYS 4-6p and has dropped the word "Oldies" from the name of MARK SIMONE's "SATURDAY NIGHT OLDIES" show, although the show itself is not being changed.
